RECORDING WITH E-BEAM
HOLOGRAM ORIGINATION Most of the security features of holographic products are formed at the origination stage. There are three most popular origination technologies at present.
E-BEAM TECHNOLOGY
![]() ![]() Digital e-beam technology takes special place among the other hologram recording technologies because of the following reasons:
HOLOGRAM MASS PRODUCTION
The hologram is mainly produced in three forms, as it is follows: Holographic hot stamping foil. HSF is pressed to a paper, plastic, etc. with special press for hot stamping. This holographic mark is not detachable. Holographic sticker. Such products are manufactured on a self adhesive underlayer and applied on a product to be protected by hand or with the help of a special applicators. The holographic stickers could be manufactured out of destructable at attempt of unsticking materials. The tamper-proof feature could be arranged with incisions on a sticker as well. Holographic transparent film for laminating. Such films are produced as for hot, as for cold laminating process. They could be in the form of a specified geometry sheets and in the form of pouches. As a rule they are used to laminate existing, e.g. printed image.
When the hologram original as a nano-relief had been created on a photoresist layer, it is coated by the silver current conducting layer with the thickness of 2-3 microns, then it is coated galvanically by nickel plating with the thickness of 150-200 microns. The obtained product with a nano-relief is an original for multiplication of one hologram image to many on a reference printing form named a master-matrix. And then the master-matrix is used as an original for manufacturing of a working matrix which works directly in production process of the holography items. To increase the number of securities, which are visible with a naked eye, the holographically authorized sign could be complicated with not only through the kind of the holographic effect, but through demetallization zones as well, which created by removing of reflection layer in spots as in manufacturing a graphic stencil. |
